Welcome to the GLAAM Spring Picnic on Sunday, April 21, at the Mineral Wells Picnic Area 11:00am-3:00pm.

Members and guests are all welcome. Bring games or play equipment if you wish. Food and beverages are provided by GLAAM … pick your breads, spreads, etc.

Meet, chatter, play games, take a hike, or relax and meet new people. Bring chairs or blankets for sitting – most of the few tables get filled with people playing games.

DIRECTIONS to the Mineral Wells Picnic Area: Note – DO NOT drive down from the north … the road from the Railroad and Zoo areas have been cut off on going South. Instead, get on the 5 freeway, get off on Los Feliz going West. Turn right onto Crystal Springs Drive. Keep going north, straight past the Ranger’s building on the right (with a stop sign). At the next stop sign, turn left onto Griffith Park Drive. Take the curve right. Go past the picnic/play area on the left, and past the parking lot on the right. Continue, curving mostly right (past Camp Road), then pass Wilson & Harding Golf. Pass the chain link fence on the right, see us on the right, stop and park.
