Movies at Night in Arcadia: With the recent introduction of the A-list program by the AMC movie chain ($19.95 for up to three movies in ANY format each week for an entire month), it is suddenly very affordable to watch first run movies. I am one of the first adopters of this program and hope to see some of you at this new movie night. We will be meeting at the AMC at the Westfield Santa Anita mall at Arcadia, 400 S. Escape Room Aficionados. We are back to the normal first Sunday! The last time we visited the excellent Suite 201 Escape rooms, they only had the Break Room (where instead of escaping, you are just going in to smash and break stuff to blow off steam) and the DEA room. The DEA room was filled with puzzles and we had a great time while barely making it out of the room on time (I think we had around four or five minutes left). They had promised to add a sequel to the DEA room but as of now they have added […] GLAAM members and their guests are welcome to join our group for shows at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood. Mensa Foodies - Wonderful Third Fridays! We will be visiting Bistro Na in October. Bistro Na specializes in modern new style Beijing cuisine. Disneyland Mensa SIG: What can be more fun than visiting Disneyland together with your Mensa friends? Mensa members throughout Southern California visit Disneyland at least one Sunday each month. Our meeting place is in front of the Fire Station on Main Street in Disneyland at 10:00am. We normally have a lunch or early dinner, and multiple rides. The itinerary is loosely planned and our Facebook page offers the opportunity to assist in planning each month's excursion.
