South Bay Sunday Salon goes to El Pollo Inka in Torrance, at 23705 Hawthorne Blvd. We've been here before; it's a Peruvian restaurant with lots of room, free parking, and delicious food, whether you like roast chicken, strips of beefsteak, or vegetarian dishes. Let's do Poland this month, specifically our old favorite in Santa Monica called Solidarity. Formerly known as Warszawa, this is the go-to Polish place in Southern California. Polish food has many different national influences, all owing to the different groups that had invaded or resided in that country throughout history. These include German, Italian, Russian, Lithuanian, and Jewish – among others – and they all mix to create what is probably the most vibrant ethnic cuisine of Eastern Europe.
