Science Logic and Faith
Where did our universe come from? We will look how the discovery of the red shift in the early 20th century radically changed our view of the universe. From there we will dive into Big Bang cosmology and the philosophical implications of our universe having a beginning. With these new insights from cosmology, we will take a fresh look at Genesis chapter one and other Judeo-Christian passages on the universe and the nature of time. Urban Walk
I’m changing the name to be more representative of our speed. This month we will do section one of Veteran’s Parkway (a.k.a. The Greenbelt) in Hermosa Beach. We will eventually be doing the entire parkway but will be breaking it into sections of approximately 1.5 miles, making our walk about 3 miles round trip. Meet on the wood chip path across the street from Valley Park, at the intersection of Gould Ave. and Valley/Ardmore.
